SA5Reader is a freely downloadable, decrypt-only version of SecretAgent
5. It allows you to open any archive that was encrypted for you
by a SecretAgent 5 user by simply entering your password and clicking
Decrypt. All you need to supply is the PKCS#12 private key file
(or SA5 .prv file) corresponding to your X.509 certificate.
The latest SA5Reader release is compatible with SecretAgent 5.7.
It consists of a portable Java-based user interface layered over
a JNI cryptographic library based on our FIPS 140-1 certified CDK
7.0.
NOTE: SA5Reader cannot generate keys or
certificate requests, encrypt files, validate digital signatures,
or handle CMS or OpenPGP file formats. For those additional features,
you'll need to license a copy of the full SecretAgent 5.7 for your
particular platform.

To decrypt a file:
1) Start SA5Reader and select the .sa5 file you wish to decrypt.

The changing graphic at the top of this dialog is simply advertising...
ignore it, or click on it to visit a web page containing more information
about the advertised item.
2) Complete the rest of the form. If desired, you may modify the
Output folder (the target directory for plaintext
files), the file specification for your Decryption key
(a .p12, .pfx, or SA5 .prv file), and the Overwrite files
setting. Your preferences for these items will be remembered when
you exit the program.
3) Enter the Password for your private key and
then click Decrypt.
4) When decryption is complete, a list of the plaintext contents
of the archive will appear in a Decryption Status dialog. You can
double click on any filename in that list to open that file in the
appropriate Macintosh application. When done, close the Status dialog.
5) Click Exit to terminate the SA5Reader application.
